Jim and colleague Helen Burstyn, along with high-profile guests, discuss lives, issues and topics of interest to all Torontonians.
He continues to maintain an active public relations practice, specializing in issues/crisis management and communications, with many prominent North American corporate clients. As the former President of one of Canada’s most prominent private clubs, Jim has also consulted on issues management with other club Boards. He has also sat on three other Boards of Directors of non-profit organizations, and Chaired one of them.
He has been a television journalist and anchorman (CITY, CTV); U.S. and Canadian award-winning corporate video and broadcast producer; advertising copywriter; political advisor; Executive Director of two PGA Tour golf tournaments (the Canadian Open, and Peter Jackson Seniors), and the televised Canadian Skins Game.
Jim also writes a popular weekly column for Fairways magazine, Ontario’s widely-read golf publication, and writes occasionally on golf for the Toronto Star.
Jim is an Honours Graduate of History and Political Science from Trinity College, University of Toronto, and prior to that had his elementary and secondary school education at Upper Canada College. He and his wife Barbara, an interior designer, have two sons and one granddaughter.
